has you noticed how the price of petrol keeps going up almost daily without anyone asking WHY? at the moments its approaching £1.20 per litre. about 2 years ago it reached this level when the barrel of oil was around $135 and that was the oil company's excuse. now the price for a barrel of oil is around $80 and they say its to do with the pound/dollar exchange rate.
they are making a PROFIT or around £3 billion pounds per quater. they say the forecourt business is a loss making aspect and the money is made from explorations.
MY SOLUTION: B.E.S.T boycott.
BP - ESSO - SHELL - TEXACO stands for b e s t
lots of ideas have been tried but not with any great success so how about this.

BOYCOTT ALL BP STATIONS IN DECEMBER- fill at any other company
BOYCOTT ALL ESSO STATIONS IN JANUARY
BOYCOTT ALL SHELL STATIONS IN FEBRUARY
BOYCOTT ALL TEXACO STATIONS IN MARCH
its a long process but do you think that BP will stand still and watch their forecourt empty while the drivers go elsewhere.
THIS IS NEEDED TO BRING THE PRICE OF PETROL TO REAL LEVELS AND NOT MICKY MOUSE LEVELS.

If you don't like the prices then why not walk/get on a bike/use the bus/etc... not trying to be provocative, but that's a way of boycotting the petrol stations for good!

a nice idea in theory but in real life and practise not very practical as more and more people are having to use the car for a living to work and not for leisure. its like saying the price of food is too high so do we cut down on food no we shop around for best prices but when the oil company acts as a cartel we do not have much choice. thnks for your input.
