I've been seriously thinking to move to London for quite some time now, and finally made my mind to just do it..hopefully I'll be there by the end of spring.
I'll have a roof there over my head for a while (in SE15), but I'm already looking at some places which could be my home one day. My eyes got caught on Surrey Quays and surrounding areas - affordable (even low somewhere, I'd say) rent prices, descent looking flats etc. Is there a catch to all this? I was in London for a couple of weeks, about two years ago. I've been in Surrey Quays..maybe not the most charming place of London, but I liked it. Any thoughts on that?
