Seems a bit quiet on here and full of spammers...??

Maybe it is because everybody is busy or something??

I think we should have an update session to see where we all are. As everybody is off planning weddings :D or moving places or what not.

I shall start then: I have spent most of this year and the end of last year living in London with my friend who is at uni there which was a blast. A completely different pace of life but I easily adapted :)
Other news... My gap year seems to be almost ending haha! I have a job in France which starts in March and then after that I have a place at Camp America which starts in May and will finish end of August. I am a riding helper which means I get to spend my summer looking after horses and teaching kids to ride yay!
After that... I have uni... where I am doing English Lit and History...

Thats all my news really....
Can't wait to hear what all you have been up to in 2011

That sounds great Lea! where abouts in France are you going? just asking because i might be visiting a friend at Disneyland or Paris :)

Camp America sounds good too!

I'll be trying to finish my art course and get my websites up and running. I really need to practice driving again :smug: thats about it at the moment.

We must keep in touch :)

It is quiet on here isn't it? The main reason I don't come on here it because of the spam. It annoys me so much!

I took a year out too. I'm doing work experience with my local newspapers and building up my portfolio. I was hoping to go to uni to study photography but people have been telling me it's better to get experience as it's who you know not what you know. I've applied anyway so we'll see how it goes.

I might also be going to France this year haha.

I can't really think of anything else.

Everyone's going to France... hmm maybe I should go there, see what the fuss is about. Though my French speaking is appalling!!

Camp America sounds fun. I looked into doing something like that but then learnt they weren't keen on people with tattoos. And here's me with my tainted skin. Sounds like a good fun summer.

Seeing as I'm always lurking here I think people tend to know what I'm up to - got my wedding coming up this summer. Also I've been drawing a lot, doing commissions and working on a new portfolio to show around in April.

I was in a band and now I'm in another one. Long story short, there. Have also decided to take guitar lessons again. I've been playing for years but felt like I was stuck in a rut and not developing, so am off to a lesson tonight in fact to start breaking out of old bad habits and learning some new good ones. Gah!

Hey all!

I have missed this place but have been very busy with school. Its my final year (FINALLY!) and I am applying to uni/acting schools this year so a lot of my attention is on that at the moment!

Hope all the AIL-ers are well!

  at everybody going to France- we should meet up in the middle and have an AIL vacation.

OO Nads when you get your website up and running you will have to post us the links so we can have a look. Have you passed your driving and practicing or working towards your exam??

Yea the spam sucks on here... I think if you have over a certain amount of posts or been on here a while we should have the power to delete the spam or something - especially if it is on a thread we have started.

How are the wedding plans going Krunchie?? I bet you are getting excited as summer is drawing closer
I have a tattoo on my leg but I can still do camp as long as i keep it covered so if it is in easily concealable place it can still be done :)
Also does your band have a facebook/ myspace page so we can show our support??

Also good luck to everybody here applying for uni/acting schools  I know how stressful it can get- I hope you both get in where you want to :applause: :geek:

Hiya!!

Man I love this site. Love that we have built up a friendship, and most of us haven't even met in person...! :o

But aside from that, yes, the forum has been quiet.

I've wanted to go to Camp America for a while, and have gone so far as to enquire about any theatre groups/drama over there I could get involved with/help. But I just haven't been able to save for it. Other things just crop up... Hope you have an amazing time Lea!! Make sure you take and post looooooads a pics

I'm still doing what I've been doing since I graduated from Uni... Bugger all! Ha. I've been applying for various acting jobs on Spotlight, I've been working at a Hotel and Theatre, I recently came back from a trip to Bath where I watched Macbeth, which was performed by my old theatre group, and my fiance and I have found a wedding venue. Belvoir Castle in Lincolnshire - google it. Gorgeous place, but very expensive. That's why our wedding will most likely be September 2012 instead of this year. Nearly all my friends have babies... which leaves me and Rich a bit broody... lol. I'm saving me pennies for a short acting course in London, which ends in a showcase.

I'm not going to France.

Hi guys,

We're still here, don't worry.

We can see that the forum is dropping off a bit and we've got some ideas to liven things up a bit. We're just a bit snowed under with development work at the moment.

If anyone has any ideas they'd like to share about getting the forum moving again we'd be happy to hear them. If anyone would like to take more of an admin role (potentially paid) let us know what you'd do to get things moving.

All the best,

AIL Staff :)
