SPAM

Afternoon all,

The spam on this forum is getting rediculous now, our developer is going to modify it next week so that spammy posts are detected and not allowed to get on the site. We'll also let you know more about the potential position of forum admin if anyone's interested in it.

Hang in there, we'll stop the spam between us!

Would the successful candidate be working from home? Cuz as you know, I don't live in London. Also, what do you guys think to a premiere reporter? I.e. Someone who attends premieres and interviews cast and crew members. It can be videod for AIL TV :biggrin:

Some interesting ideas in here.

This week we've finished off the bulk of the 'other' projects the AIL parent company (makes it sound very important ;)) has been working on. So from next week it's all about AIL. We've got some new sections going live and the forums/user side of the site is high up the agenda.

We can potentially open the moderating role up to a few people, the software needs to be written first though as our forums aren't 'off the shelf' forum software like most other sites, we'll need to develop the moderator system with the help of those who will use it.

Aly your suggestion is very interesting, we're currently talking to a company about something along these lines so we'll let you know more soon.

Spam filter software to go live on the forums today, fingers crossed.

Next week we'll be testing the moderator system, then we'll be letting our moderators loose on the forum!
