I used to use a pub in Marylebone call The Feathers which I believe to be the smallest pub in London; it is now called The Swan and Edgar and the bar is made from old books. Anyone know any other 'odd pubs' i can visit?

That sounds pretty cool.
I went to The London Stone recently, opposite Cannon Street tube station. It's a gothic-horror kind of theme. The loos are hidden behind secret doors in the bookcases.

Thanks, I went into a simialr pub near Marble Arch (Marlborough Head) but have to admit I found the toilets behind the bookcase a bit frustrating; during a crawl round the metropolis I need the toilets to be easily accessible ha ha

1. Have you tried the Jerusalem Tavern in Clerkenwell. History and calm atmosphere mixed together.
2. Also suggest Ye Olde Mitre Tavern in Ely Court. Legend has it that is was a bolt hole for criminals as it was outside the jurisdiction of the London Police! Anyway it is hidden away and is a great venue.
3. Just off the Thames path is the Mayflower, one of may pubs on the route. But it still has some old charm.
