HELP! LOST MY ACOUSTIC GUITAR - ISLINGTON/CROYDON

Hi,

Bit of a long shot... but I left my acoustic guitar (in hard-case) in the back of a black London taxi, in the early hours of Sunday morning (after a Saturday night out).

The cab journey was between Islington and Croydon at about 4am.

I don't know the cab company as we hailed it.



I've filed a lost item report with TFL, but if anyone knows anything/has any Cabbie contacts that could put a message out that would be great.

Was it an actual black cab or a minicab? Black cabs are self employed. Nothing to do with TFL or any companies. Though there is a black cab twitter account and they might be able to help. I'll find out the name cause I can't remember off the top of my head. It could be that the driver didn't know and the next customers took it. If it was a minicab then you're out of luck cause they're supposed to be pre-booked.

Sorry to hear this, letting TFL know is probably about all you can really do, it's down to the taxi driver (and most likely the next passenger) to hand it in to the lost property office.
