Hello, I'm a composer and I have to use a music theme that associates with London (if it's troublesome it could be associate with UK). It should be well-known music (aspecially for foreigners) that was composed before 1850. I known "London bridge has falling down", but it's a popular song... I thought about some classical pieces... Please, help me quick! Sorry for my English. Greetings.

Struggling to help with anything that old. Was amazed though how many songs feature London in them while looking. :geek:

Porucznik, Handel's Water Music was premiered on the River Thames in July 1717 for King George I. Try this link to listen to a piece of it --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w4XFnUZm_Y&feature

Good answer, its the answer I would have given had I educated myself properly and not wasted my youth playing computer games.

A lovely tune, I should imagine King George said the same.
