Anyone who has spare time and can get down to the clean up locations might want to check out:

A fantastic effort from Londoners showing these criminals who really owns this city.

Well done London.

Arm the police, the first guy deserved to get shot, so why should these animals have any better treatment?

Hi frapagliarulo,

The best thing to do would be to keep your eye on the BBC London website - it's up to date and lets you know what's happening and where. Hopefully will be all under control by the time you visit next week though.

Should be fine by next week, just check the BBC and Met Police websites if you're concerned though.

Hi All,

We cannot allow such riots to happen ever again, anywhere. It's so sad to hear that many people have lost their properties and suffered damages during the last few days and in so many boroughs of London. I'd like to express my deep sympathy to all of the victims, damaged and looted properties' owners.
The rioters should be punished severely and justly. I don't know but maybe they should be relocated to very distant places and banned for life from coming back to London or perhaps even to the UK. They all should be taken to a place with harsh conditions and forced to work hard and left all alone to fend for themselves. There should be no mercy for such criminals.
I hope many parents will change their attitude bringing up their children. All parents should raise their children properly, regardless of being poor or rich. They should be aware of that money really does not matters when it comes to proper up-bringing, education how to respect other people and how to treat others well and equally. Life becomes harder and harder and we all should help each other and one another, instead of fighting like enemies. Everybody's equal and deserves the same right to live their peaceful and safe life. It's just up to all of us, everyone. Let's stop living just for money, blinded to other humans' needs and feelings. Let's just be always good-hearted and open to each other regardless of any individual differences.
Peace and respect.
Take care and keep warm xx

I'm coming to London on Saturday. Normally...
I don't know yet if I should go. My stay is in the centre, near hyde park, so I don't know if it will be safe enough...
