INMYDADSMEMOERY
My father died suddenly in London (I live in Belfast) I travelled to London to organise his cremation as he wanted his ashes buried back home with my grandmother.

I had a very long and strenous week as there was a post mortem and I had to pay the cremation in full prior to it taking place.

I went to APS (Alternative Property Services) in Hornchurch to ask about the deposit my dad had paid, they were the mosy unhelpful uncompassionate people I have had the pleasure to speak to. They told me thay had lost a tennant and now had to readvertise the proprty (I had just lost my dad), also that it wasnt their business to be compassionate.

To cut a long story short they are insisiting I get a letter of admistration for the £800. I was able to go to the bank sort his finances by showing my ID etc.

My dad has assests of £130 and when I applied for probate at court in Belfast they were surprised at APS asking for this letter.

Please please consider which scheme your deposit is held in because when it comes to getting it back you may also come across a company such as this
