X Factor 2011

Starts this Saturday. Anyone going to watch?

I will but I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy this series.

I'm not keen on the judges :-? but I'm hoping I'll get used to them after a while.
I think to suddenly change 3 judges all at once was too much.

My 6yr old son has been excited about the x-factor starting for months :laugh: he loves music.

Opinions on Judges?

I think they're trying to hard to make Gary Barlow the next Simon Cowell. He's not bad though. I think he'll be a really good mentor.

I also think Kelly Rowland will be a very good mentor and she has experience in being in a group as well as being solo. I also didn't realise how beautiful she is. I guess as she's been beside Beyonce for most of her career her looks have been overshadowed but she really is stunning.

Also, I think people need to give Tulisa a break. She actually knows the industry very well. I know N-Dubz aren't everyones favourite band but hey have been together for years and have gone from nothing to selling a whole lot of records so I can't think of a reason for her not to be there.

I missed it on Saturday but hoping there's a repeat on ITV2 at some point this week so I can catch up. I do think the judges are all more qualified to be there than Danni was (even though I like her). I love Gary so hope he lives up to the high expectations I have for him :love:

Well i didn't know who Tulisa was until i read online that she was one of the new judges.
I wasn't expecting to like her but i thought she was nice.

Didn't think much of Kelly and Gary well i didn't like him much either. Maybe once i've seen a few more episodes i might change my mind of them.

For the length of time it was on, it didn't seem as though we saw my contestants. Too many flaming adverts for my liking but i know itv need to make their money.

Also agree that as mentors Kelly and Gary should be really good. Don't know anything about Tulisa.

Just hope that Louis Walsh doesn't get the groups or oldies again.

She was ok.... Yes...... amazing..... ermmm No.
People on twitter saying shes the new amy winehouse, adele & that she made them cry :confused2:
I don't get it.

Still waiting for that someone who is WOW..... i fell in love with Matt Cardle the first time i heard him sing.

I agree with you. She does have a nice voice but comparing her to Amy Winehouse or Adele is a bit much. I think if she had sung a different song she wouldn't be as memorable.
