Autumn in London

Despite the fact I'm a Summer-bunny, each year I'm loving Autumn in London more and more. I can't be the only one! What do you guys like or look forward to each Autumn?

I like that it's before it gets too cold (but you still need your jumper) and it being dark at 7pm. I like bonfire night, though I haven't been to a fireworks display in years (saying that, I saw plenty of fireworks a few weeks ago at Disney World). And I like the build up to christmas. I just wish it didn't start so early.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Autumn.

I esp love the darker evening..... i really hate it being bright until 9.30pm.
I love that is cold but not freezing cold. I love seeing the trees all bare and the leaves on the floor..... although wet leaves are somewhat dangers to walk over.
I love that its my birthday next month :party:
I love that Christmas is getting closer & i get very excited about seeing anything remotely connected to christmas.... yes i admit i am sad :rolling:
I love September - December, although the end of Nov and December have extremely sad memories for me.
Can't wait for December when the elves come to visit my kids and the Christmas tree goes up.

I'm not a hugh fan of late autumn/winter but when I'm in London it's different, I love it! I love the early nights and the Christmas feeling but when I get home to Luton I just can't wait to get inside in to the warm.

Maybe that says more about Luton than anything?

I hate that it's getting dark so early now, although I do love this crisper autumnal weather. So sad to put the garden chairs away for another year though particularly (and I know we all say this every year!) it really does feel as though we haven't had a proper summer :(

On the bright side, the colours in the trees are amazing and I LOVE the Christmas lights around London.
