London hotel & parking

Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice on a hotel/carpark please.

I am going to be in London for an interview on Friday and my thoughts are to comedown Thursday night, stay in a hotel somewhere and train/tube it in for the interview leaving the car at either the hotel or nearby carpark.

I am going to EC4M if that helps

I don't mind paying for the parking or driving to a car park near my destination but I think it will be easier to park up somewhere and tube/train it in.

I am coming in from the North and can use either the M1 or M40.

Any advice will be appreciated

I'd drive in on the M40 and stay at a hotel in Hanger Lane. You'll miss the central London traffic, Hanger Lane is literally just off the M40 and the tube station is on the central line that will take you straight to Holborn and Chancery Lane.

This hotel is right by the tube and has onsite private parking, if you let them know you should be able to leave the car there for a while after you check out.
