Hi all !

Does anyone have any idea yet, if and then so when exactly there will be a red carpet premiere for the first part of The Hobbit in London?
I know the premiere is announced for December 14th, but I assume that's the day people can go see it, not the actual red carpet premiere...........?

That's right, I doubt there'll be advance screening of this one before the premiere and so I'm guessing you'll have to wait a week or two after the premiere before you can actually see it. We'll probably get general release dates2 or 3 months prior to release.

Really excited about this one. Will do wonders for martin Freeman's career too!

Yep. He's about to become an international mega star. Seems like a decent chap though so good luck to him.

On IMDB it says the film is released on the 14th of December which means the premiere might be a few days before that.

VERY excited.

As much as I love Guillermo del Toro I'm glad that Jackson ended up doing this.

Have you seen his hair recently though - try-hard blonde highlights and sidies (not good!!). Has taken him down a couple of notches on my heroes ladder I'm afraid :( Still can't wait for the film though!

Yeah I saw him on a chatshow recently and thought he had his chest pushed out just a little bit. Don't get me wrong, still good and British and self-depricating but just a bit more ego than the last time I saw him interviewed. Although he is about to be a huge global star so I guess it would be pretty hard not to change.

Wasn't paying too much attention to his hair, in any case I haven't got enough of his past haircuts in my memory to compare it with ;)

He's a decent chap, stop picking faults you lot.
