Can anyone recommend places where you can go just for dessert? Or places that do exceptional puddings?

Best dessert's I've had were at Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley.

Earl Grey tea parfait, milk, caramelised honey, sable

1000kcals? nice

Off topic but I had a pre-packed sandwich yesterday that was 55% of my day's fat intake, quite impressive from two slices of bread and some cheese.

Ah man I wish there was a Cheesecake Factory here. The menu there is amazing and the cheesecake is so good.

Speaking of good cheesecake, the ginger and white chocolate one that you get at Wagamama is pretty nice.

That sounds delicious. I had an unusual mint and strawberry cheesecake at a Geronimo Inns pub once which was surprisingly nice, but I think my favourite has to be the passionfruit cheesecake at Princi in Soho.

Pollen Street Social has a Dessert Bar which sounds intruiging... a friend went a few months ago and said it was a great experience which made the puddings even more of a treat after the meal :tongue2:

Both those sound great - I have William Curley's Couture Chocolate book and everything in it makes me hungry. There doesn't seem to be a great many places where you can just pop in for dessert without having a meal first.
