What is it about Benedict Cumberbatch?

We used to have a huge - and we mean HUGE - Johnny Depp following on this forum... but the actor that everyone seems to go ga-ga about now is Benedict Cumberbatch.

We were all chatting in the office about why he's such a hit.

He's obviously a great actor...
Some people think he's good-looking...? (jury's out)
He seems pretty intelligent...

Have we missed anything?

Yeah, although I was only saying to my friend Benedict Cumberbatch the other day that it's amazing how he has the same name as Benedict Cumberbatch.
