American in London...

Hey there,
So I'm visiting some family in London and staying for about 3 weeks. Since most of my family is over 40 with a few under 13, I am the only one who is willing to go out and have some fun. I'm 19, and I was hoping to do some clubbing while in London to enjoy myself and maybe some other activities to keep me busy on my stay, any suggestions for me would be great becauseI have no idea what would be best for me here and such, I'm big on pop, hip-hop, R&B, etc... I would love it for some suggestions on what you people felt was a good time.. Thanks in advance.

Here are a few choices...

Give "The Penthouse" a try. It's on the top two or three floors of number 1 Leceister Square. You enter via a lift to the left opposite the Swiss Centre. The views are fabulous and they play a range of music from electro/pop/house on the lower two floors to R&B/hip hop on the top floor. This place is expensive but real good

Try "Loop". It's a bar near Oxford Street ww.theloopbar.co.uk, three floors... bar on top, pub in the middle, club downstairs.

Also Onanon in Picadilly Circus is pretty fun. HUGE place with 7 bars within it. They play a range of commercial and dancy stuff. This and The Penthouse are the best choices of the three. Penthouse is nicer but expensive. Onanon is fun and something for everyone. Loop is great if there's a few of you.
