I'm trying to organise a day and evening for a party of about 10 girls this summer for my mate's hen night. I want to do something that is fun but doesn't involve drinking, for a couple of hours in the afternoon. I've thought about spa/massage ideas but nowhere can take this many people - any other ideas anyone?

Try a boat trip up to Greenwich from Embankment. It's really cheap and it's a nice day out, might not be the pampering that you're after though! ALso if you're doing it in the summer there's a great park there that you can relax in.

Hi

I run Painted Earth - a paint your own pottery studio in the Catacombs, Stables Market, Camden. We run hen nights!

You can come down to our studio, with it's laid back atmosphere right in the heart of Camden Stables Market!

We charge £5.00 per person painting, and you can bring a bottle or two of wine along with you if you wish, and choose items from our range of unpainted pottery which we take away afterwards to glaze and fire. You might like to buy a pasta bowl for the bride and six small bowls so you can all paint a set together! or how about painting a set of huge breakfast cups and saucers, cereal bowls and plates for the happy couple? We've tons of ideas! call me on 020 7424 8983!

I heard some great original ideas for Hen Nights.

What about:
1. The whole party taking a salsa dancing lesson
2. Taking a pole-dancing lesson! (that could be good fun)
3. Paintballing - none in central London but I think there's some on the outskirts
4. Record your own Hen Party song! I've heard of this one package where you can all go into a recording studio, put on your headphones and do a professional recording of a song - either a song that you've written or a cover. That could be really nice to keep to remind you of the day.

Anyway, hope there were some ideas there for you!

Have a great time! Wink

Dear Newbie,

I think you should have a look at this website: www.thegirlsnightin.co.uk

It great if it for someone there don’t want a wild evening, but instead would like to spent time with some friends and be spoilt in any way.

Hope you like my idea,

Gizmo

Why not try a pole dancing class / lesson wih Polepeople. Their website address is www.polepeople.co.uk They have lots of venues in London and have rave reviews. You don't have to drink but you can if you want to.
