Okay, someone has to be the first to post something in a new forum. I've always thought Vauxhall was the most boring point in all London. Changing bus there twice daily seemed be devoid of any positive element whatsoever. Now I find that Vauxhall turns out to be the very point in London where visiting Martians might converge, and, what's more it's got awesome links with Russia. All this gleaned from a chance encounter with 'hidden europe magazine' which gives a glowing account of Vauxhall in their November issue. The article is online on their website. Henceforth I shall treat the twice daily change of bus at Vauxhall as a privilege rather than a burden. Why has Vauxhall hid its light under a bushel? How did I come to change buses there 1,311 times (up to this morning) without knowing that Vauxhall is actually very interesting.

Vauxhall interesting? :-?

I've only ever been to Vauxhall to pick up hire cars. It doesn't look particularly interesting to me although I havent' really ventured more than 100 metres from the station on foot.

That structure sticking out of the station is pretty interesting though, I thought that it was going to be some kind of fly-over when they were building it :emb:

Cheers
