Hello all,

Just thought I'd write a first post to get the website feedback topic started.

Clearly from the lack of posts you're all 100% happy with the site and we don't need to change/improve anything Wink

hello there!

Just noticed that when I try to add a property to the East London rentals section - all the areas are not covered. Also once posted it does not show up on the site :S

I dont think its a All in London fault (you guys are perfect) so what do you think Im doing wrong?

Thanks

:)

Hi there,

When properties are submitted they are held as "inactive" in our system, once an editor has checked them they are then set live. I'll have a look into why yours haven't been activated.

The property section is due for an overhaul in the not too distant future, watch this space...

Sorry to disapoint you but I have to assume because I cannot find any restaurants listed with a user review that you have a policy of NOT posting them?

I have posted several user reviews on a similar site only to discover that they do not bother to authorise them or even answer emails either!

Whats the situation on your site?

Tony

Hmmm, I've posted lots of restaurant reviews on here over the last few years and they're all active.

eg http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/restaurants/restaurant-1197.php

They don't seem to show up in the search results though, it says "Average User Rating: Not rated" for pretty much all of the restaurants, even the ones with reviews - maybe there's an issue with that somewhere?

Also, I saw this site mentioned in an article in the Sunday Times around a month ago about online reviews and how restaurant owners are posting unrealistic comments on them - they must have a fair few comments to get mentioned in the Times :-?

It seems the reviews are now being posted OK.

There is a listing problem, go to outer London north west and only four Indian restaurants are listed although many more are in the total listing by name. That needs to be fixed. e.g. Papadam in NW2.

I love eating out and going to theatres and like to be able to share my experiences with others to help and warn them what to expect.

PS I am totally genuine and have no connection with any restaurant or theatre!!! ( Apart from visiting them! )

Thanks for your posts Tony we appreciate the feedback. We'll have a look into what's happening with the results/reviews asap and post back on here once fixed.

have you been able to identify what the problems are and more importantly have they been fixed?

Please can you remove the phone number from the article on the Broadway Market as it is incorrect. The poor guy isn't internet savvy so i promised i'd try to get his number removed!

Thanks.
