When people spit their chewing gum onto the pavement

When people spit their chewing gum onto the pavement it makes me sick how dirty the streets are. It stays there and morphs into some black splodge on the ground. Look at the pavement around Oxford street-dirty

It's a challenge to find an unchewied bit of pavement on Oxford Street, eventually the entire pavement will be that colour.
