Moving to Hertfordshire, close to Stevenage

We are a married couple and a baby, and are planning moving to Hertfordshire in the near future. It would be convenient if it is close to Stevenage.

Does anybody has an idea of good places to stay, and what prices can be expected, to rent a flat/house? We would need minimum two bedrooms, perhaps 3.
