Hi I am moving to lambeth road over the weekend and was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any parking restrictions in the area??

Especially access for parking removal vans.

Hello

I work for Lambeth Parking Services so am in quite a good position to help you!! What road are you moving to? Cos there are different restrictions for different areas.

Thanks for that Suzy, I was literally just digging around on the lambeth council website to find an answer to this.

You do realise now we know what you do that we'll direct all parking issues to you ;) :)

Actually, have just re-read the post and he is moving to Lambeth Road - this is in Waterloo W zone. The restrictions for the Controlled Parking Zone are Mon-Fri 8.30am - 6.30pm this includes all single yellow lines and unsigned bays. Although many resident's bays are restricted Mon - Sun 8.30-8.30 so its advisable to check if there is a separate sign for the bay. As far as having a removal van. It is possible to suspend a bay for this purpose although I believe this should be booked 5 days in advance at least. Unloading is permitted but if the vehicle is left unattended for longer than 2 minutes a Penalty Charge Notice could be issued. If this happens, the best thing is to write in providing any supporting documentation possible. Your case will be considered for cancellation. It is advisable also to obtain a resident permit ASAP as you cannot leave your vehicle in a bay without a permit for any length of time.

Hope this helps

Suzy :)
