Novotel London Waterloo Hotel

Hi,

I'm planning a trip to Paris on the Eurostar from Waterloo. It's a romantic weekend break

Our train is very early on a saturday morning and so I'm thinking about arriving on friday night and staying at a hotel close to Waterloo. I've been looking around and I'm thinking about the Novotel Waterloo. Has anyone got any experience of it? Is it suitable to impress a lady? It looks like it's a little distance away from Waterloo station, is the station easy to reach?

The hotel is a little distance from Waterloo station but there are frequent buses along that route. The hotel will also be able to get a taxi for you I would imagine. Failing that, it's not too far to walk if you don't have a lot of luggage.

Regarding the quality of the hotel it's 3 star and so you can expect a reasonable level of service. I wouldn't expect it to be that romantic though!

If you're after a hotel to impress your girlfriend try One Aldwych, it's not far from Waterloo. It's not exactly cheap but will earn you a lot of points.
