So Tony Blair's got one foot out of the door, and today Gordon Brown announces he's officially stepping into the fray in the race to become the next Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party.

What does everyone think about this? Do you think Brown would be a worth successor?
Do you think he’ll have a lot of competition from other candidates? If so… who?

Let us know your thoughts…

There won't be any competition, everyone's already been removed from the runnng by Gord's team - it'll be brave peron who steps up to take him on.

I'm looking forward to him taking over, I don't think things will be very different and he will retain control over the exchequer so we'll always have a strong economy. It will be interesting to see his stance internationally, he won't be as 'popular' as Blair but I think he will put the UK first and make the right decisions.

Good luck Gord, you've got the support of the Mog from All In London, and that "as we say in Texas" you can take to the bank.
