Hello there-

I'm writing an article for London magazine Catch 22 about private space in the hectric metropolis that is London. I was wondering if anyone had interesting ways of maintaining or finding their private space- whether it's going round on a bus at 4am listening to classical music, hiring a bubble of the eye to oneself, hiding out in libraries and so on- if your story/perspective is interesting enough I might request a fuller interview with you and you'd get into the magazine. Thankyou,

There isn't really any private space in London, pretty much everywhere is covered watched/occupied.

The only place to escape from it is your own flat/house, unless of course you're homeless, but then you'd have bigger things to worry about than private space.

There are a few cosy parks in London, and they ca feel quite private on occasions, but it depends when you visit them... if it's on a hot day then there's no chance of you finding a private corner!
