Hi everyone

I was really looking forward to seeing Orlando on stage.
In December I have a trip to London planned, but it only runs till somwhere in September .
Can anyone say at this point if its likely it will run longer for another 3 months with Orlando still playing the part.......?
Also how can you find out when actors have a day off?
I'm scared that when I go I might see someone else playing the role.........
And one other thing ( very much wishfull thinking)........is there any ticketoffice where you book without a creditcard ?
Thanks !

When an actor signs to perform in a theatre production, they sign up to perform every single night unless they are ill or their is some form of family emergency.

The only except to this rule is major musicals where some performers do six shows a week and the "off nights" are made clear at time off booking.

Whilst they may be filming during the day in London, they must be at the theatre in time for make up and costume.

Only performers in long running shows should be planning holidays during the run, and if Mr Bloom goes on holiday after three weeks into the run, he's career on stage will suffer.

As for an extention, that does depend on filming commitments and whether the show sells out.

LTRC will be doing a group outing to this production with top price front stalls tickets reduced to £35 and we'll be going to see Ewan McGregor as well!

Thanks for the info ! I will phone to ask if he's on stage, the day I'm planning to go.
The LTRC event seems nice to, but I can only afford a daytrip over from Holland by bus and boat so it will be the matinee (not sure if I spelled that right) for me.
What is the best place to order tickets; the theatre itself or maytbe one the following ?

www.officilatheatretickets.com
http://www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk/tkts or http://www.londontheatre.co.uk

Or somewhere else maybe?

Well, I booked today. I phoned the theatre to ask if he's playing on Agust 25th and they said yes (unless he should happen to get sick of course, but that you never know)
I'm going to the 2:30 (pm) show and I'm in row C....which is good because I don't want to sit completely in front.... and row C is still close to the stage.
I booked through ticketmaster, they didn't sell tickets a few days ago yet.
So I can relax now !
