Gordon Brown at the top

I'm getting all political this afternoon, I've already blasted David Cameron on other threads; so I though I'd take a moment to comment on Gordon Brown.

How do we all think he's doing so far? I know it hasn't been long and there hasn't been that much in the way of crisis to tax him (well apart from the weekend's flooding - but he hasn't reacted to that in terms of policy yet - just delivered all the "our thought are with those effected" comments).

I think that Brown might actually be what this country needs: a strong leader.

In an age where political correctness and fear of making a strong decision incase it offends prevails I would certainly welcome someone that isn't afraid to make hard decisions.

Straight off the bat Brown has come out slugging by sending home the four Russian diplomats on the back of the Litvinenko affair, I think that if Brown exhibits continued international strength, particularly with respect to the US, he’ll garner huge public support.

Whatever happened to fire-and-brimstone politics in the age of Maggie Thatcher? Hopefully Brown will sow a pair of b*llocks back on to the face of great British politics.
(How eloquent.)

What does everyone else think about Brown?
