Club Azuli Goes Down Under At The Cross!

On the 18th August, Club Azuli are showing their international colours once again with an Australian flavoured line up set to shake the foundations of The Cross all the way down to Sydney! Some of Australia’s finest exponents of electronic music, Dirty South in his last DJ appearance in London for 2007 and Vandalism in their only DJ appearance in London of 2007, are lined up to deliver some Antipodean attitude to the Club Azuli crowd. And in the second arch, balancing the Australian invasion and injecting a bit of soul from the States is the Baltimore house legend, Karizma - what a line up!

Club Azuli is world renowned for delivering the best in upfront electronic edged house. They are slammin’ it at Space Ibiza every Friday night, to a sophisticated, international crowd of party people. However, the Club Azuli trash glamour music lovers that religiously attend the bi-monthly residency at The Cross in London could not be forgotten about, and so on Saturday 18th August, Club Azuli have pulled out all the stops to provide an Antipodean treat that you won’t find anywhere else in the UK.. However as usual, you will find some of the dirtiest house and electro grooves currently rocking Clubland alongside the more soulful house sounds of the second arch, and a line up to put the others to shame.

Dragan Roganovic a.k.a Dirty South is one of the hottest names in dance music in 2007. His original productions invariably end up as the ‘Essential New Tune’ on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 show and his remix credits include Depeche Mode, Mark Ronson, Roger Sanchez, Tiesto and Josh Wink to name but a few. His DJ skills are unquestionable as his residency at the legendary Onelove parties in Australia will testify. Now courtesy of Club Azuli you can hear his trademark blend of beats and dirty basslines at The Cross.

Dirty South is ably supported by another Australian act fast becoming a name you won’t forget… welcome to the decks, Vandalism. A Vandalism DJ set is a rarity in the UK and Club Azuli have managed to snare the only one in London this year! Vandalism have a rich house music heritage with members Andy Van and Kam Denny scoring hits and massive gigs all over the world under a variety of names. Their remix of Chicken Lips ‘He Not In’ has been destroying dancefloors in the UK this year, so prepare for the arches of The Cross to be jumping as Vandalism take over! Supporting the Aussie front line is the newly formed outfit Masarian delivering upfront electro house and breaks. Also in support and injecting a dose of UK dirty house grooves we have Ed Rockstar!

In the second arch, Azuli head for the States and are proud to welcome Baltimore legend Karizma to the decks. He'll be spinning his unique brand of jazzed up and soulful house in a rare and not to be missed UK appearance. In support, Azuli stalwart Rap Saunders steps up to bring his proven, upfront house grooves to the dancefloor. Also in support we welcome Twisted Funk (Agent Abraham and Pedro Gonzalez), delivering their own brand of ‘hands in the air’, sexy house music! And, in the third arch you can get a dose of uplifting house, hosted by Togetherness, with Rob Marmot, DJ Marble and friends.

Get up and dance as Club Azuli goes down under!
