He's got a point there - I dread to think how much I lost to kebab shops during my student days.
However, I think they deserve the extra money given what they have to put up with from drunken yobs.

Yeah, Central London kebab shops are *notorious* for short-changing customers. It's ironic because so many shops have started putting up their little signs that read (vaguely and well-hidden): "Please check all change before leaving as we cannot correct any mistakes once you have left." Originally, I didn't pay much attention and left - now I tend to look around for those little signs that are normally hidden on a till that's behind a wall of bubble gum/sweets and double check my change before I give the nice "Cheers" to go on my way.
