Treatment of Employee's

Hello,

I am Elizabeth Alan from the US and wondered if the British experience the same decline in working environments we are now seeing here in the US. I wrote a book about my experiences. I am talking about over the norm of bad bosses too. How can it exist in this modern day and age? Is it because we have become so international, or our governments totally protecting big business? I wonder just how many people are affected by this?
