i've been growing my hair for about a year now and it is definately time for a haircut. I usually go to my local barbers but seeing as this is the first time that i've really grown it, i want to go to a proper stylist that will know what they are talking about rather than suggest cut it all off! The only problem with the local barbers, is that I'm mixed race, so when i go there, they don't really know what to do with my hair other than "shave or short." I don't really want anything cut off, just a slight trim and some advice as i have been living abroad for the last 14 months so the state of my hair has become rather ragged!
Does anyone know of a hairdressers/stylist that knows about my type of hair and can give me some advice and a cut rather than look at me like i'm Frankenstein!!!
