Stag do in Soho and West End

Hi all,

I'm sorting out a Stag do and need some good recommendations for bars/clubs to go to around Soho and West End.

I've got a restauarant sorted and we've going to spearmint rhino for the obligatory lap dancing.

We're going to be 12 guys in central London so I appreciate it's a bit difficult getting into some clubs. We're looking for a couple of smart bars for cocktails and then a cheesy, unpretensious club for some funky dancing and fun. Any ideas? Probably need to get on the guest list I image?

Have you had a look at the club nights section of this site? There are some good ideas in there.

If there's 12 of you I'd recommend going to a club in small groups (even on the guestlist) unless you can arrange something with them before hand. 3 of us weren't allowed in to a club in Leicester square as weren't a mixed group!

i reckon a really good combo would be going to Hush in Lancashire Court (Off New Bond Street) for sophisticated cocktails and then on to Loop Bar on Dering Street (also nr Bond St tube). They have three floors with cheesy dancing on the bottom floor. I'd definitely second what Mogwai said though - you'll need to make sure you go in in small groups if you're all guys.
