how far is bayswwater?

hello !
im comning over to london in 9 weeks from australia and just booked a hostel near basywater and paddington (so its says).. called torquay hostel.
how far is this from heathrow and is it to difficult to get there, should we change itt .. ?

if someone could please help id be very grateful , struggling to find anything online.

that sounds like it's a pretty good location. Bayswater is next to Paddington and you can get the Heathrow Express train from Heathrow direct to Paddington in 15 minutes. It's really well sign-posted and the trains leave every 15 minutes so couldn't be easier! It's fairly expensive (about £15 for a single ticket i think) but is soooo much easier than getting the tube and much cheaper than a cab.
