Hello,

I might be leasing a flat in the Baker street area. I am not from London, so I was wondering if this would be a safe area for a young adult female. The address number is 7.

Thanks. Any info will be helpful.

Baker Street is a perfectly safe area to be compared to other central London districts. Obviously you'll get the 'normal' crime levels associated with any similar central area but it is a 'good' area. It does have some residential streets around, but it has a very busy feel about the main streets with LOTS of traffic and people. I'm not sure where the nrs start, but hopefully you'll be somewhere near Regent's Park as that is absolutely beautiful.

It's perfect for getting into the west-end...you could walk it in 15 mins depending on which end you live at.

I worked in the area for quite a while and often left fairly late at night without any issues at all.

Hope you enjoy it!
