Distance from marylebone station

Can somebody tell me how far it would be to walk from Marylebone station to The Adephi Theatre Strand?Or how much a taxi would cost as my sister & I don't do undergrounds.

Welcome to the forum.

Yep this is definitely walkable. It's between 1.5 and 2 miles and will take you through some nice parts of London, if you're visiting.

The best - and most interesting - way would be to cross the Marylebone Road and walk east along it for half a mile or so, then walk down Portland Place which joins Regent Street and follow Regent Street all the way to Piccadilly Circus.

Then head across to Leicester Square and down Charing Cross Road to Trafalgar Square, then turn left along The Strand. You're there!

Buy a London A-Z before heading off and you shouldn't go too far wrong.

Taxis will probably be between £10 - £15.

there are LOADS of buses that go pretty much along that route too.. if you go to Baker Street station (5 min walk max from Marylebone) on Baker Street itself, there are loads of bus stops. The nr 13 or 139 are two that I know of which both go directly down the Strand by the theatre.
