Hi ... Could you advice me where can I roller-blade in London? So far I have been bladeing in Hyde Park but I don't really like this place. It is so busy and full of funny people. I am not that good with bladeing and looking for a place where I will have more space so I could learn new things. Somebody told me that good place is near Thames, but where about?
I will be grateful for any advice.

Hi there,

Rollerblading hey? That's ag reat way to get fit!

OK, here are some suggestions:
Take a look at our London Parks Guide - here you can see all the major parks in the capital and you may wish to try them, one at a time, and see where you feel most comfortable, if you're still learning you sometime want a nice quiet place - rather than a park with hundreds of people watching you... you can build up to that as you get more confident.

Also, take a look at our Rollerblading In London article which give you loads of pointers for rollerblading in London as well as events such as Skate Nights - where people rollerblade around the city en masse - and links for more information and rollerblading clubs.

Hope this helps!

All the best,

Greenwich Skater
Hi,

There are a number of great places to skate in London. But i suggest either Greenwich Park (check out www.skate-greenwich.co.uk) or Hyde Park (http://www.serpentineroad.com)

Cheers

And see you there!!

There is also the Roller Disco in Vauxhall, should you wish to make a night of it
