Hey people,
I just moved to London from Germany and am kinda used to from home that you have massive (and I mean at least the size of Ikeas!) furniture shops everywhere along the motorways (not really in the cities as they're too big I guess) where you can get medium priced/quality furniture (not that IKEA crap).
However, in London, it seems you either have massive ikeas or tiny furniture corner shops like Habitat and all that sort of stuff. But, I NEED MORE CHOICE than that and better quality than Ikea!

Does anyone know any big stores around London? I live in Richmond, which isn't really central I suppose, but I can drive whereever if the place warrants it....

Thank's in advance!!

Arne

PS: I know places like John Lewis have some furniture, but they're hardly specialists and only do it by the way as I understand it, so not really what I'm looking for either...

Hiya..

We got some stuff from FCI which was just off Hanger Lane roundabout by the North Circular... it's not really cheap stuff and they have quite a lot of choice there. Another good place to try is Lee Longlands.. they have lots of really good stuff there. Only problem is that there isn't one in the London area.

Hope that helps - sorry haven't seen your post to respond to it earlier. :emb:
