Hello!

I was just wondering because im quite scared, im going to see a band next week at the Brixton Academy and im totally baffled as how to get there because ive never been before.

I want to travel from Bedford to Brixton and im not sure if I can catch just a train or if I have to catch combination of train and tube..?
Also where i have to get off or possibly change over?

Please could someone kindly help me or give me some advice!?

Thanks very much Happy

Hello Kai,

To get to the Brixton Academy you will need to take the Thameslink train service from Bedford Station to King's Cross Thameslink Station, from there you will need to change onto the underground Victoria line which will take you straight to Brixton station.

Changing at Kings Cross at the moment (due to construction work) may be tricky, so don't be afraid to ask one of the staff for directions.

Hope you enjoy the concert! Cool Dude

Well, I'm taking a bit of a shot in the dark here but if I remember correctly you should be able to find out all you need to know if you speak to an operator on The National Rail Enquiries, they will also be able to give you details on whether or not your ticket will be valid on the London Underground and what time your train leaves.

The number you need to call is
0845 7 48 49 50

Hiya,
Try this site:
www.nationalrail.co.uk

You can put in where you are travelling from and to and it gives you the available trains, times and costs.

You can even buy your ticket online or call their online train-tickets - although if you're travelling in 2 days time they won't have time to send the tickets out (I think they only send out for at least 5 days in advance).

You can buy tickets at pretty much every train stop in the country though, so just turn up to the train station that you're travelling from and buy your tickets on the day.

When you get into London you can buy your tube tickets at whichever station you arrive at. If in doubt just ask staff - they're all very helpful.

Don't worry you won't get stuck.

Have a good time at the gig!
