travelling to stamfod bridge

hi all,

I am taking my 2 children to chelsea's fan fun day on 11/08 I am planning to drive down from the north and park on the outskirts and catch tube there as there is no parking at the ground that day.Can anyone suggest a safe area that is relitivly cheap to park and easy to catch the tube then to Fulham Broadway.

Sorry can't help as i live near Chelsea's ground so i don't know about parking else where.
When you say cheap parking, what do you consider as cheap?
The parking around here isn't that expensive if you're only parking for a couple of hours. £1.80 p/h or something like that.
