My daughter is due to have her MMR next month. I know that it's supposed to all be fine now, but does anyone still have any concerns or are you all letting your children have it now? I'm still a bit unsure because of all the bad publicity that there has been in the past Confused

I did a whole year study on the mmr jab and we found no links to anything negative. It is a shame people still have negative connotations with it. I would recommend it and know lots of people that have had it :) And my sister has just given it to her child

remind me again what the mmr is again? lol if it's what i think it is then i've had it done (i cant remember what ive had and havent had lol)

i remember having my TB injection done and they do that test before on your arm and mine never went away and the woman who gave me the injection said it's probably because i've been in contact with the TB virus so my body was slightly immune to it already :o that was scary :confused2: lol

Bunny's mum seems like a wise lady...we had pretty much decided that our baby should have the MMR but just need a bit of reassurance I guess..

Thanks :)

And no issues afterwards presumably?
Did you have any doubts beforehand or were you confident it was all ok? Good to hear that other people have gone ahead with no probs too.

To be honest i had no problems giving my kids the MMR.
There were no problems afterwards either.
My youngest will be having it soon, just need to get my backside in gear & book the appointment.
