I'm .NET developer and I'm thinking to leave Spain to live in London with my girlfriend... I want to improve my skills there, but I don't know how easy it's to find a job in that city... I'm improving my spoken English but it isn't fluent yet.
Anybody can give me an advice?

Regards!

If you are looking for vacancies in London, try sites from this list: http://www.careerstagged.co.uk/Home/search.aspx?tag=london_vacancies

These include IT, and it should help give you an idea what's out there :)

I dont know, work in London as a whole is much harder right now.

But IT...its an industry which seems to always have jobs going, as its a skilled industry. So I would think you could find work. But easy, I dont know!

Hi road79,

How is your job hunt progressing? I work in HR but unfortunately, cannot help you with your job search.

If you do find it difficult to find a position, taking a professional training course can be great for job prospects. Completing such a course shows that you are committed to the industry and are willing (and able) to learn new concepts and ideas.

There's a number of good trainers out there and available through Google. We use this site for our teams to find training courses:
http://www.findcourses.co.uk/it_pro___487__.html
There's also plenty of English courses available there (some online learning too!)

Good luck for the future,
John

Hi, As another alternative have you cnsidered network marketing? Network marketing has been confused with pyramid schemes amongst others; however it is a legitimate and potentially very profitable form of sales and marketing. It is still one of the fastest growing industries and can provide, very quickly, a long term sustainable source of income.
It is simply another type of distribution channel, you sell the products direct and earn, you encourage others to join your network and help them sell the products, you earn, they earn. It is a Win Win situation.
You can work in our own time, we do not carry large overheads and we do not carry large amounts of stock or have staffing issues. Our job is purely to sell – move the product – the more you sell the more you earn.

You can start off where you are living now and you can move and still carry on a very successful business regardless of where you live.

Send me a message and I can tell you more
