Hello all!!

I am a 21 year old student....going into my last year of uni and I am currently based in the North West (think Cheshire/Lancashire...)

Although I have been to London before, I went a few weeks ago and I think because I was staying in an actual domestic setting (with my Gran) rather than a hostel/hotel, I found that I fell in love with London!! And I have come to the decision that I will move there after graduation...

I would like to get myself a job in the media/writing (I know I'm crazy at this is one of the most competitive areas of work) but I really want to make it happen for me...

So anyone out there who left home and went to live in London and managed to cope, then any advice you can pass on will be beautiful!! Advice on living, money, budgeting, the high and low points - ANY words of wisdom will be amazing!

It's been almost a week and no one has replied to you! That's not like us. I must apologise Zed.

Which uni do you go to? I recently graduated and I too want to go into one of the most competitive industrys; acting! London is THE place to be realistically if you wanna make it in the peformance buiness, so I too have plans to move there at some point. I'm not one to talk to about life in London, but I'm sure there's plenty of helpful bodies about to help you :)

Keep believing in yourself by the way, because although it is an incredibly fickle and difficult industry to get into, you will make it! Do NOT give up!
