Bow Church

I am French. Found a place that looks alright in Churchbow and it's not that expensive. I sense there must be something wrong then with the surroundings since the flat is ok. Can anyone tell me more about this place?

Hi Carotte,

The East End is now getting really fashionable, and there's nothing wrong with the Bow Church area at all.

There are some great things to do in the neighbourhood, here's a few of them:

* Hackney Empire - this is a great place for theatre, comedy, dance and music productions
* Broadway Market and Broadway Market
* Backyard Comedy Club - started by Lee Hurst the comedian
* Victoria Park - a lovely park in East London tailing off onto the Hertford Union Canal

There are also loads of great bars and restaurants all around the area.
