anyone watch the paralympic closing ceremony last night?

what did u think? i only saw bits but i thought it was fantastic

I didn't see it but I think there should be a computer game for the paralympic games. They ahd one for the 'regular' olympics. I think it's be much more interesting, and bring a new level to sports games.

indeed. what a good idea. has anyone ever tried sports and events the way the paralympians do it.

i tell u what - wheelchair basketball is ruddy hard - u have to throw the ball so much higher and further and faster just to get it near the hoop - its impossible!!

I haven't tried anything paralympic style. I imagine the basketball is tricky.

I can swim without using my arms though. Not very fast mind, but then i don't swim fast when I do use my arms.

i didnt get to see the closing ceremony but i think its great that we came second on the table, hopefully we will be first in 2012!

indeed. does anyone know any athletes who might be competing in either the olympics or paralympics in 2012???????

I did and I cant wait for us to play host to the 2012 Olympics.
The areas that are going to be centre of attention, like Newham and Stratford are undiscovered cultural goldmines. There is architecture, shopping, eateries and nature beauty spots that you wouldnt believe were hiding out in East London!!!
