I don't have any personal stories. I've heard bumps in the night and things, but I'm one of those people who goes and investigates and finds nothing.

I have stories about houses my family have lived in though. Oh saying that, in my aunt's house there was a horrible chilled eerie spot at the top of the stairs in her house, I used to HATE staying over there, especially if I slept in any of the rooms closest to the stairs. I wasn't aware of this at the time, but my cousins used to hear steps on the stairs and I think even see someone there, but my uncle told them it was nothing. After they moved out, he admitted he used to hear it and see it too, but didn't want to scare the children.

I guess I kind of have a story there.

When I was a baby we lived in a two up two down, we had the up paet. At night I would wake and scream at the same time every night. My dad was late bake from work in the early hours and just before I woke screaming heard a tapping like metal on wood. It went on for a while then he heard a bump, and I started screaming!!!!

Some weeks later the landlord came to get into the loft , my dad was chatting about the tapping. He was invited into the loft and the guy opened an old wardrobe that belonged to an old man who had lived and died in the house. There in the wardrobe was a metal topped walking stick!!!
They took it out and dad tried it on the wodden stairs, sure enough it was the noise he heard. The walking stick was taken out of the house, I never woke again and the tapping was never heard again.........

wierd OMG Speehless

I've kept waking up at the same time before. I just put it down to bodyclock type stuff. Kind of like when you always wake up just before your alarm goes off.

Weird that isn't it. Whenever I've got to be up early I always wake up 2 minutes before the alarm, even if it's 3 hours earlier than I'm used to. Wierd.

Lived in London since 2003, it's alright I suppose.

Is odd how it happens. I always do it whenever I set an alarm for myself. has to be something working in the back of my head somewhere. I'm usually pretty good at telling what time it is without looking at a clock, but I'm not putting it down to that.
