Anyone use Tesco and not get substitutions and missing things EVERY week?

We used to do Ocado and they were great, but expensive in comparison.

have used tesco and sainsbury's they deliver outside the time slots. Things are always mising sellby dates are often short, and subs are often and many, I agree that acado are much better, I guess you get what you pay for!!
I only use the home delivery now for items that are not fresh !!!
I fimd its better to go it takes longer but at least you can get the bargains too....

I used Tesco a couple of times, and both times there was one thing they didn't have in stock, and substituted. You have the choice if you want to take it or not. I never used it to buy things that were priced on weight, like cheese. But the dates were always good for me, I have no complaints. Only used them about 3 times though.

This is something i don't like. I have used Sainsburys and Tesco. When the food comes to the door nearly everything is in an individual bag, which is such a waste. Also....When you walk round the supermarket and looking at fresh produce, what do you do ??, you pick the best you can. There is non of that care with delivery.

I get most of my fresh fruit, veg and meat delivered but it is from an organics company call riverford organics. All the food you get is organic, the spuds, carrots etc still have soil on them. The meat is lovely too. Supermarket meat in comparison is poor.

I decided once to walk round my local supermarket and check the prices along side of the organics company. And match for match my organics company was cheaper.

Oh yeah the carrier bag thing... I don't get that at all. They use far too many.

My car is broke, and I can't carry all that shopping on my own. So that's why I did the home shopping thing. I would still do it, but my kitchen is too small to buy everything in one shop at the beginning of the month or soemthing.

Takes more than 20 minutes, for sure though :P
