Hello People,

My mate is having his stag night in London on 8th Novemeber and we're looking for a decent club to end up somewhere in central london. I don't know london at all but my mate says he really likes the Roadhouse in Covent Garden... however, from my brief searching about the Roadhouse they don't appear to like large groups of blokes, particularly stag parties. Can anyone either confirm or deny that the roadhouse operates a strict policy here and/or recommend similar venues as an alternative that would have a similar sort of vibe.

Thanks in advance.

A group of my male workmates went out a couple of months back, and in fact they had trouble getting into every other club, except Roadhouse, where they ended up. So it's worth a try, and have a back up just in case

Oh but dont go in in one big group, divide yourselves up into pairs or threes

Thanks for that... we had already been thinking that we may need to be splitting into small groups to get into places.

It's cool. Unfortunately it's the few spoiling it for everyone else. A lot of places don't like taking stag parties because of rowdy behaviour that has occured in the past by groups of drunk men. It's a shame there's those who can't handle their drink and just have a good time!

Sounds like large chunks of the West End at the weekends to be honest...

I'm not a big fan of the Roadhouse - it gets so rammed and tends to be full of tourists so it has a very different vibe to other places. How about Gardening Club (haven't been in a while but liked it when I did go quite regularly a while back) or somewhere like The Loop...both pretty near there.

Thanks for the replys.

Sooz: yeah I had come across the Gardening Club as a possible alternative, the Fire and Stone (where we're planning having a meal) website mentioned it. I'll investigate The Loop though, cheers for the tip.
