Hi,

Im taking my boyfriend to London for his birthday on Friday 30th Jan 2009. Neither of us has ever visited London before. What should we do??

We will arrive in London Lunch time Friday and are going to see Dirty Dancing on the evening.

Can anyone suggest somewhere to go after the show for a meal?? Average price budget.

Then im wanting ideas for the Saturday. I would love to have a peek in Harrods.

Ive considered the London eye and a river cruise.

London eye ive ruled out coz i hate heights and river cruise thought might be bit nippy end of Jan.

ALL ideas or recommendations welcome!!!

Id brave the cold and do the river cruise, or try a duck tour (fun!) or a double decker bus tour to see the sites.

Remember Saturdays in London are also manic busy!

Glad you asked!

They do the usual main sights but the vehicle also drives into the Thames for a bit too. I did one of these tours in Dublin once and had a really good time!

Never done the London one though. Still, its a little more unique!

for a meal got to china town if you like chinese food there are loads of restaurants all amazing!

if you like pizza there is a posh pizza express called Kettners in soho.

you could go to the London dungeon or maddame tussauds both great days out and they do deals if you want to go both.
