Hi, I'm new to this forum. I used to live in Highbury but moved to Southend, Essex around 26 years ago - still miss the place though, bet it's changed since then! Really hope you all don't mind me asking a question immediately i've joined but need some advice please. I have to travel to University College Hospital in Euston Road and don't know how to get there by public transport. If I go to Fenchurch street station, can anyone tell me what tube, bus etc. I need to get from there? Have completely lost touch with traveling and don't really go anywhere these days and am worried i'll get lost. Would be soooo grateful for some info if you can. Thanks. Scared

Hi,Malakarti1

I live in London, so here how you can get to University College Hospital.

Walk from Fenchurch Street station towards Aldgate Tube Station( it's about 10 min walk). Then take Circle Line towards Liverpool street or Metropolitan line towards Uxbridge. Get off at Euston Square station and walk to University College Hospital ( 5 min)

Good Luck!

Hope it helps!

Oh thank you so much. I don't travel further than our beach these days and it all sounds so scary! Have chosen to go to UCHL as our local hosp is a bit naff and want some proper treatment, for a change. Amazing that when I lived in London I would go anywhere and not be at all concerned, yet now am so different. Must be my age I spose and the fact that I don't have to go anywhere any more as no young children to take out.
Thanks again, you're a star! :wizard:

Hi again rafaelbrave,

Do you think I would be better off going to Liverpool street station instead of Fenchurch Street in order to change to the tube, as I can go there from Southend?
Sorry to be a pain! :-?

It's even better!!! So you won't need to walk! Anyway it's easier to get to Euston Sqaure from Liverpool Station!

Hi rafaelbrave,

Will do that then and thank you for all your help, it is very much appreciated. To try and get information from c2c was nigh impossible so you have certainly eased my fears.
Will let you know how I get on, won't be for a while though as have only just been referred.

Cheers :applause:

For future reference, www.tfl.gov.uk has a handly journey planner.

Though I think us on AIL know the quicker routes than there :)
