I watched yesterday Remains of the Day!

Found it brilliant. I loved Kazuo Ishiguro book, so was very keen to see the film.
Loved it. Antony Hopkins and Emma Thomson were amazing!

I also like Little Women both the book and the film.

Loved Sleepy Hollow, though it wasn't close to the book, but I thought the film was even better!

What's yours favorite screen adaptation?

Yeah I was thinking Lord of the Rings. The films are incredibly long and yet they missed so much out!!

And Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, cause it had the dark feel of the book. And is my fave book of the Harry Potter series.

Green Mile......By miles.

The Shinning.....Although Jack Nicholson does go mad way too quick.

Blade Runner......The book was originally called ' Do Androids Dream Of Sheep ' or something like that.

To name just three

Stephen King's 'The Body' into 'Stand By Me' is not bad at all!

But most adaptations fall well short. You can never beat a book.
